Correcting ear deformities
Here we address correcting protruding ears. Normally this operation is performed on preschool aged children. In most cases it is a question of insufficient cartilage development. Using a special surgical technique, ears can be returned to their natural shape and moved closer to the head. In children this operation is carried out using general anaesthesia, in adults it may be performed using local anaesthesia.
