Mouth and pharynx disorders
In this section the most common illnesses are recurring tonsillitis and pharyngitis (sore throat), aphtha (infection of the mouth) and other viral infections of the oral mucosa. However, oral dryness, tongue itchiness and an increase in oral mucous may also interfere with our quality of life.
Saliva gland disorders may cause discomfort in the mouth.
Often the origin of snoring and sleep apnoea is found in the area of the soft palate, uvula and tonsils.
